Facebook Automation: Why You Need a Personal Touch

As a busy agent in this day and age, you are asked to do so much. It makes sense why you would allow tools to help automate aspects of your business. It streamlines the process and allows you to focus on the more important pieces. For example, if you could have a program automatically apply coupons to your online cart without you having to look for them...you would, right? Well, what if that coupon had a few strings attached?

Facebook Automation Why You Need a Personal Touch

Today we will discuss Facebook posting automation specifically. We know there are many companies out there that offer this service. Some do it better than others. Some will only post a link to an article daily. While Z57 will write content for you so it sounds more like it is coming from a person, instead of an automated robot. (Your audience can tell the difference)

 

 

Why Should You Edit Posts if it is Automated?

While the content we create for you onto Facebook is highly engaging, and can generate traffic to your real estate website (and thus real estate leads)...there are a few action items we would recommend to make the highest return on your investment in Facebook automation.

1. Make it More Personal

This action item refers to the engagement posts written for you. We try to be as local as possible, and write engaging Facebook content such as "It's National Ice Cream Day! Where is the best scoop in {YOUR CITY NAME HERE}?". However, there are times when it is necessary to get a little more personal. Maybe you are known for your love of strawberries? Feel free to insert that into your post!

2. Make it More Local

Insert local hot spots into your posts to encourage your audience to engage with you. For example, we will sometimes ask a "This or That?" question, which will typically spark conversation and debate on your Facebook Business Page. A recent post we had was "Would you rather road trip across America? Or go on a tropical island vacation for a week?" What if you were to update that to something that the locals would understand a little better. If you were a Southern Californian, you can reword that to "Where would you rather road trip to for a 1-week summer trip? Road trip to Havasu Falls in Arizona? Or Big Sur up north?".

3. Hashtags Still Work on Facebook

Did you know hashtags still work on Facebook? You can edit your posts to include hashtags that the locals use. The Facebook search bar will allow users to search for hashtags or keywords. Just make sure the hashtags or keywords you use are relevant to the post. So don't hashtag #NashvilleHomesForSale on a post about ice cream.

Bottom line is that auto-posters work great. They can free up a lot of your time, and make your life so much easier. With just a little bit of effort, you can become a Facebook Superstar.
