The power of social proof, or referrals, in today’s digital marketplace should never be overlooked. Think about it from your own point of view. If you are researching a product or service online, are you more apt to believe what the company says about their client’s satisfaction or what actual clients say about their experience? It’s human nature to weigh peer reviews more heavily, and while you probably know that testimonials are great to have, you may be struggling for ways to use them to your advantage. Don’t worry, we’re making things easier for you.

Here are 4 ways to effectively use your real estate client testimonials in your marketing.

1. Review Sites

Once you have gathered your amazing reviews it’s time to spread them throughout the areas on the internet that most people are using. It’s also important to monitor what has already been said on local review sites as well, which is why you should always make sure your profiles are up-to-date. Check your Yelp, Facebook, and Angie’s List reviews and make sure any complaints are handled professionally and that any praise is answered graciously. Many of these sites offer an embedded link to your reviews so that you can host them on your own website.

2. Your Own Website

Your glowing client reviews are something you should be proud of and showing them off on your own website is a phenomenal way to do this. You don’t need to limit testimonials to just one area of your website, they are often most effective when sprinkled throughout. For example, including your testimonials on your homepage will allow them the most visibility and also help you make a great first impression with potential clients. In addition to this, you may also create a testimonial page purely for this purpose or include them in the company information page.

3. Print Materials

While digital marketing has overtaken most of what we do, the importance of effective print materials shouldn’t be overlooked. There are many print materials that can benefit from a client testimonial section including fact sheets, brochures, newsletters and even at the bottom of business cards. The more places you include your reviews, the more potential clients will have a chance to see them.

4. Social Media

There are several ways that using your testimonials on social media can benefit you and your brand. If you are running Facebook ad campaigns, this is a great opportunity to get your reviews our there to potential clients. With a limited amount of copy space, you may need to simply highlight part of a shorter customer review, but doing this can help your overall clicks and conversions. You can also include customer reviews in your Facebook posts by featuring a new one weekly or several times a week.

When it comes to customer testimonials, the real estate marketing space is perfectly designed to let those reviews shine. Today’s potential clients start their research online and making sure your glowing reviews are front and center will help take your brand to new heights.
